Sometimes a little help means a lot.
Comfort Keepers provides industry-leading home care services that allow seniors in Winnetka to continue living independently – and safely – in their own homes. For the Comfort Keepers team, our work is personal: we care for your loved one as if they were a member of our own family.
The first step in starting a relationship with Comfort Keepers Winnetka is simple, but it is the key to our overall success. Our experienced home care professionals will meet with you and your loved ones to assess the senior’s medical condition, living environment and personal preferences. This allows for the creation of a comprehensive plan of service, tailored to a client’s individual needs. During this meeting, we can discuss options such as:
- Personal Care
- Companion Care
- Interactive Caregiving
- Respite Care
- Transitioning/Post-Surgical Care
- Alzheimer’s Care and Dementia Care
- End-of-Life Care
Comfort Keepers Winnetka also works in partnership North Shore Senior Center and Warren Barr in order to better serve our clients and families.

From its humble beginning in 1836 with the establishment of the Patterson Tavern on Green Bay Trail, Winnetka has become one of Chicago’s most affluent suburbs. Named for a Native American word meaning “beautiful place,” the area flourished after the Chicago & Milwaukee railroad began service in 1854. Winnetka’s proximity to Northwestern University in Evanston attracted well-educated, reform-minded residents, who incorporated Winnetka as a village in 1869. In 1900, the Municipal Electric Utility Plant began operating – and making money. Profits funded the construction of the village hall and helped pay teachers’ salaries during the Great Depression. Winnetka's 15 minutes of Hollywood fame came when the movie “Home Alone” and its sequel were both filmed at 671 Lincoln Avenue, a local residence.
Comfort Keepers has been serving Winnetka seniors and families since 2000.
